Eugene Vending Sales Manager


Bigfoot Beverages Eugene is recruiting for a Vending Sales Manager. The Vending Sales Manager creates and identifies vending opportunities within the designated market, through new and existing accounts.  This position develops customer, supplier and internal relationships, maintains focus on account retention and provides training to appropriate team members when necessary.  Analyzes the market and current accounts to maximize distribution and work collaboratively with customers and co-managers to develop product lists and plan-o-grams.  Works closely and has exceptional communication with their manager, co-managers, current and potential accounts. This is a full-time, exempt level position.  The schedule is Monday through Friday with some weekend work as necessary. This will include 40 plus hours weekly and shift start time varies based on daily need.

  1. Execution of strategic plans to enhance vending business, profitability, productivity, and efficiency. 
  2. Coordinate sales distribution by establishing sales territories, quotas and goals.
  3. Retain current accounts through relationship building, regular visits, prompt attention to customer service opportunities and asset management. Problem solve to meet the needs of all accounts and work closely with co-managers if resources are required.
  4. Responsible for the acquisition of new accounts through business proposals and cold calls within the designated market.
  5. Analyze sales reports, focus products and customer requests to assist in the development of vending machine plan-o-grams.  Communicate regularly with co-managers and Full Line Vending Drivers to stay up to date on customer requests and trends.
  6. Coordinate the planning, execution and process paperwork involved with vending machine installations, removals and upgrades according to company procedures.
  7. Manage the capital expenditure budget for vending equipment, both new business and upgrades. 
  8. Achieve sales revenue plan by period and on a yearly basis.
  9. Perform zone to zone transfers from VendMax and distribute them to the appropriate area, daily by 4:00 PM.
  10. Collect orders and invoice designated accounts.
  11. Act as support and back up for Vending Route Manager as necessary for vacation, sick time or other events.  Duties include but are not limited to managing daily route coverage, monitoring labor budget and overtime, execution of vending inventory control on trucks and providing motivational leadership to Full Line Vending Drivers.
  12. Plan and coordinate with the Director of Vending and Fountain in regard to training courses specific to the location.
  13. Regular and reliable attendance is required.

Required Education and Experience

  1. B.S. or B.A. degree in accounting, sales, marketing or related field; or high school diploma or GED with equivalent experience.
  2. Minimum of 3 experience in full line vending, sales, or account management.

 

Preferred Education and Experience

  1. Vending Operations experience.
