Eugene Inside Sales Representative


Bigfoot Beverages Eugenewill be interviewing for the position of Inside Sales Representative. The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for the daily processing and execution of all aspects related to inside sales includes but is not limited to contacting accounts on specified days, inputting product orders, communicating information with Delivery Drivers and developing sales opportunities within the designated market.  Accountable for the End of Day procedure and route settlement for Delivery Drivers.  This position will review daily route invoices and match payments received by Delivery Drivers.  Works closely and has exceptional communication with Area Managers, Delivery Drivers and their accounts.  This is a full-time, non-exempt position that will work Monday-Friday.  The schedule will be 8:00 am - 5:00 pm with additional hours based upon daily need.  Wage is dependent upon experience.

  1. Prepare and execute account contact list with close attention to account’s availability and preferred form of communication.
  2. Verify and input product orders into inventory system, paying close attention to match invoices to product keyed into the system.
  3. Maintain consistent and up to date knowledge of company product.  Provide information around new products or seasonal releases to account personnel.
  4. Communicate with Delivery Drivers and Area Managers in regards to customer needs, requests or general account updates.
  5. Develops inside sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts within the designated market.
  6. Partner with Area Managers to develop call schedule for holiday weeks with attention to delivery schedule and business hours.
  7. Maintain customer relations through prompt communication to inquiries, delivery issues and account knowledge.  Communicates with Delivery Drivers and Area Managers to meet the needs of all accounts or when resources are required.
  8. Completes End of Day procedure and route settlement for Delivery Drivers.
  9. Review, reconcile and validate daily route invoices to ensure accuracy of payments collected.
  10. Compile and track driver logs daily.
  11. Observe company safety guidelines and practices in every phase of work.  Report all hazardous conditions, safety concerns, injuries, incidents or property damage to your manager.
  12. Regular and reliable attendance.

 

Work Environment

This job operates primarily in a professional office environment, with occasional warehouse exposure. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers, filing cabinets and fax machine. Bigfoot supports a drug-free workplace and will require a pre-employment drug test.  As part of our hiring practice we also run a motor vehicle report from the DMV.  A probationary period is required. We are an Equal Opportunity Employer

 

Required Education and Experience

  1. High School Diploma or GED required.
  2. Minimum 2 years of experience in customer service, sales or marketing
